Self-Exploration 1

This is a self-portrait, part of a series of three, that hopefully a number of themes and emotions i'm trying to convey. The underlying theme is vulnerability. I have attempted to express this firstly by the bound hands, and also by the fact that i am not wearing fresh makeup and therefore not hiding anything - in much the same way i'm not hiding my sexual fetishes from the world any longer!

The most important aspects of these photos for me, however, are 1) expressing the emotional side of S&M and particularly, submition; and 2) non-classical beauty, which may or may not have happened.
